Unresolved Kashmir issue can become cause of strategic outrage in South Asia: Asif
The minister said that Russia should play its role in Afghanistan matter.
MOSCOW (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif on Thursday said that Kashmir issue can become cause of strategic outrage in South Asia as India didn’t respond positively to the efforts of Pakistan in this regard.
Talking at International Security Conference in Moscow, Khawaja Asif said that Kashmir issue needs to be resolved for the peace and stability in the region. He said India has not responded positively to the honest efforts of Pakistan.
The minister said that Russia should play its role in Afghanistan matter whereas he also termed US attack on Syria as foreign intervention.
Afterwards, Khawaja Muhammad Asif also held a meeting with his Russian counterpart Sergei Shoigu in Moscow and exchanged views on matters of mutual interest.
