Summary Shah Mehmood Qureshi says that the corrupt system has darkened children's future
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi has on Wednesday said that the people of Pakistan were eagerly waiting for Panama Leaks case decision and added that PTI chairman Imran Khan will personally be present in court along with other party leaders at the time of announcement of the result on Thursday, reported Dunya News.
Talking to media after the party meeting, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the Panama Leaks case decision would be a historic decision. He said that it was April last year when this issue had begun and it will come to an end in April too. He added that the case had remained alive among the masses because of PTI’s efforts only. He said that this case remained a part of media headlines throughout the year only due to PTI.
Shah Mehmood claimed that PTI’s public meeting in Raiwing proved to be a turning point in this case. “We don’t want to derail democracy. In fact we are trying to strengthen it”, he said. He added that he didn’t know about the court’s verdict but he certainly knew that the people of Pakistan had already given their verdict in PTI’s favour.
