Summary CJ demands report on the incident from Aviation and Interior secretaries, takes suo moto notice
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Chief Justice (CJ) of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has on Wednesday taken suo moto notice of the security forces’ assault on female passengers at Islamabad airport the other day, reported Dunya News.
CJ demanded report from the Aviation and Interior secretaries over the assault on Pakistan born Norwegian nationals. CJ took the notice of a news report published in the newspaper.
The women were allegedly brutalised by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials at the airport and were dragged by hair. CJ has demanded the report within three days.
