ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The election commission of Pakistan on Wednesday disqualified Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Assembly lawmaker Abdul Munim Khan who is affiliated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and was elected to KPK assembly from PK-88, Shangla.
As per details, the PTI lawmaker was disqualified on the basis of allegations that he was a government servant months prior to the 2013 general elections.
The election commission ordered criminal proceedings against Abdul Munim besides the salaries paid to him would also be taken back.
PTI lawmaker was currently serving as the special assistant to the K-P Chief Minister Pervez Khattak.
