Summary Defence Minister complained that Afghanistan is not cooperating like a neighbouring country
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – While talking in Dunya News programme “Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Sath”, Khawaja Asif told that despite their honest wishes, Afghanistan was not cooperating like a neighbouring country.
“Sacrifices made by Pakistan’s security forces have ensured peace”, the Defence Minister said.

He advised Afghanistan to make effort for peace within its territory rather than giving excuses. “If NATO forces failed to ensure peace in Afghanistan then why Pakistan is to blame”, he asked.
He stated that Afghan border could not be set free, adding that things will not improve until Afghanistan improves border management.
Khawaja Asif added that Indian forces had also violated the Line of Control (LoC), alliance between Afghanistan and India was not suitable for them region.
