Hostile agencies must stop disturbing peace, warns COAS Bajwa

Army Chief made it clear that despite the policy of restraint, Pak Army can give befitting response

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa met with Vice Admiral RC Wijegunaratne, Commander Sri Lanka Navy on Thursday. A bilateral talk was carried out on eradication of terrorism and restoration of peace in the region.



The Commander Sri Lanka Navy praised sacrifices made by Pakistan Army. On the other hand, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) stated in a press release that the Army Chief visited Mohmand and Bajaur Agencies.



He also met the elders of those who embraced martyrdom during yesterday’s terrorist attack at Ghalanai and offered respects and condolences. He warned enemies of a befitting response despite restraint policy if the rival agencies continue to disturb regional peace.

He stated that terrorists are resuming their activities yet again in Afghanistan. “We will jointly fail the plans of terrorists and hope to see similar initiatives from other countries”, he added.
