Panama Leaks: PTI announces to file petition in SC

Summary PPP had earlier advised PTI not to head to SC regarding Panama Papers issue

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) announced to file a petition in the Supreme Court (SC) regarding the Panama Leaks on Monday after the party’s legal team was given green signal by PTI Chairman Imran Khan in this regards, reported Dunya News.

PTI sources stated that the party shall not let the Panama Papers issue be placed at the back, adding that the leaders shall be targeted on the matter on every possible forum.

PTI’s legal team has also obtained final permission from Imran Khan about filing the petition. Earlier, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) had suggested PTI not to head to the SC regarding the Panama Papers issue.
