Karachi: Firing on Faisal Vawda's car, PTI leader reported safe

Summary Attack took place while Vawda was heading home

KARACHI (Web Desk) - Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Faisal Vawda s car was attacked by unidentified gunmen in Karachi on Friday as he was travelling towards Delhi Colony. PTI leader was reported safe after the incident took place as he was travelling in a bullet-proof car.

The attack took place while Wavda was heading towards his residence. Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah took notice of the incident and demanded a report of the attack from Inspector General (IG) police.

While conversing with Dunya News, Faisal Vawda stated that 4 assailants attacked his car and fired six bullets at the windows but he (Vawda) and PTI spokesperson Imran Ismail who was travelling with him, remained unharmed as the car was bulletproof.

Earlier, Vawda while addressing the media outside the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) office along with Imran Ismail, stated that he had evidence regarding the land mafia operating in Karachi and demanded action against those involved in the crime.
