Terrorism in the country taking last breaths: PM Nawaz
Those on top of the container are an obstruction in the path towards prosperity, says PM Nawaz
SIALKOT (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif stated on Monday that the terrorists had become poweless, adding that they shall be wiped out soon. He said that the armed forces, police and the public deserved to be saluted for valiantly battling terrorism, reported Dunya News.
While addressing a public gathering after laying the foundation stone of Sialkot-Lahore motorway PM Nawaz stated that history was being made in Sialkot today. He added that the Sialkot motorway shall greatly help in eradicating poverty and backwardness. He further said that prosperity shall now become the fate of Pakistan and no one can snatch it.
Prime Minister stated that the politics of disorder needs to be curtailed if stability is required in the country. He added that the government was moving in the direction of progress whereas those on top of the container were an obstruction in that path. "Those on the container do not intend that the people should live a life of peace," he said.
PM announced that load shedding in the country shall completely come to an end till 2018, further adding that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project shall bring prosperity to the entire region.
Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) Director General (DG) while briefing the PM upon the Sialkot-Lahore motorway project stated that the project shall have the least impact on the country’s economy. He added that expenditure on the project shall be made by taking loans from private banks.
The motorway shall cover a distance of 89 kilometres. It shall have four lanes whereas it shall start from Lahore bypass and will end towards 15km west of Sialkot.
