Nepra approves Rs 0.39/unit hike in K-Electric tariff

KARACHI (Dunya News) – National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Thursday has approved Rs 0.39 per unit increase in K-Electric tariff.
According to details, a hearing regarding raising electricity prices was conducted by Nepra in which, K-Electric suggested to increase the price by Rs 0.45/ unit but the authorities refused and agreed on Rs 0.39 increase.
The price hike was recommended under the fuel adjustment of June month.
It was also decided that the order would be implemented from September month.
