MIRPUR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) supporters have established a separate polling station in Mirpur on the ocassion of ongoing Azad Kashmir elections, reported on Thursday.

Sources told that no security officer or electoral staff member has been seen at the polling station as the PPP activists have completely controlled the camp.



Long queues of the voters pledging support with PPP have been witnessed outside the polling station while the workers have also protested and expressed solidarity with PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto.



Meanwhile, polling for 41 constituencies of Azad Kashmir Legislative Assembly is underway.

At least 423 candidates are in the run for 41 constituencies of the AJK Legislative Assembly. Strong competition is expected between Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in today’s election.
