Summary Imran warned the government that this time PTI will protest and head towards Raiwand
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Addressing the Parliament on Thursday Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said that Prime Minister (PM)’s children have been accused in Panama Leaks and government is answerable to public in this matter, reported Dunya News.
Imran questioned that government can investigate in any case of irregularities regarding Shaukat Khanam project. He also said that Panama Leaks is not a conspiracy by opposition.
Imran Khan said that government has been accused of involvement in Panama Leaks, instead of explaining, the minister have started blaming the opposition. Shaukat Khanam has not be named in Panama Leaks and that he did not blame the government as it is an international issue, he added.
During his address, Imran got furious over continuous interruption by the ministers and said that democracy should be encouraged. He also said that corrupt elements will not be left in his government after which the Speaker asked the minister to be seated and listen to Imran Khan.
Chairman PTI said that poor are treated free of cost in Shaukat Khanam and proposed the formation of commission headed by Chief Justice to probe Panama Leaks case. He also said that police is not used for retaliatory actions in democracy. If PM is not doing a favor by explaining over the allegations, it’s his duty to do so, Imran added. Indian PM also formed a committee instead blaming others.
He warned the government that this time PTI will protest and head towards Raiwand instead of D-Chowk.
Imran crirticised the government and said that government has started saving itself and has been trying to blame a charity organisation. He also said that people like him try to favour Pakistan by investing and bringing their money back to the country.
People involved in money laundering are trying to damage the image of the country. Imran Khan presented himself for accountability and said that he has been waiting for investigation. Shaukat Khanam, endowment funds and Banni Gala should be investigated first, he added.
