Summary Rangers have performed more than 30 tasks on daily basis to prevent street crime: Bilal Akbar
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Director General (DG) Rangers Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar on Thursday said that Rangers and police are preventing street crimes and Rangers have performed more than 30 tasks on daily basis to prevent street crime, reported Dunya News.
Talking to the media DG Rangers Sindh said that extortions have been done in the name of different institutions and organisations.
Senior political personalities were the target of extortionists. He also said that a 7-member extortion gang has been arrested and that Pakistan Rangers Sindh has performed more than 30 tasks on daily basis to prevent street crimes.
He said that Halal money is not spent in promoting crime; organised crime and corruption are twin brothers. DG Rangers’ has achieved a big success regarding street crimes which would be revealed tomorrow, he added. Police have to prevent street crimes and Rangers is supporting them, he ended.
