COAS vows to eliminate anti-Pakistan activities in country

Summary COAS decided to take concrete measures for restoring peace in every corner of the country.

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif on Thursday chaired Corps Commanders’ Conference where internal and external security situation of the country was discussed in detail, reported Dunya News.

Serious concerns were shown regarding border violations by India and Afghanistan near the border areas of Pakistan. The Army Chief reiterated the commitment that the integrity of the country will not be compromised at any cost, while malevolent attempts of enemy intelligence agencies and terrorists will be foiled.

According to a statement released by Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), activities of anti-Pakistan elements in the country will be eradicated. COAS stated that concrete measures will be taken for restoring peace in every corner of the country.

The Army Chief also decided to deal strictly with the elements violating international laws and border of the country.
