LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab government on Tuesday has issued directives to stop all the information technology (IT) related projects of Lahore police.
According to sources, a meeting over law and order situation in Punjab was held on February 27 in Lahore in which, the Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif was briefed over the ongoing IT projects of provincial capital’s police.
The minister ordered to halt all the projects while a summery has also been sent to Lahore police in this regard. It further stated that projects would be the waste of money and time, therefore, they should be stopped.
The plans include monitoring room system, operation room system and other projects.
