Summary Raheel Sharif offered all sorts of facilitation in order to effectively tackle terrorism
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif during his one day visit to Tajikistan on Tuesday met with the Tajik president Emomali Rakhmonov, reported Dunya News.
The Tajik president acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts for the Afghan reconciliation process and appreciated Pakistan Army’s breakthroughs in Operation Zarb-e-Azb. The Tajik premier further added that Pak Army’s operation against the terrorists is a role model for the entire world. General Raheel also met with Tajik Defence Minister and Chief of General Staff during his visit.
COAS paid visit to the military institute and military training centre of Tajikistan as well.
