Summary Fazl lashes out at Women Protection Bill again, says no man will accept bangles in his hands
MULTAN: (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema Islam – Fazl (JUI-F) leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman has on Tuesday feared of Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif also falling victim to the Women Protection Bill. Lashing out once again at the bill, Fazl said that no one would be able to accept bangles in men’s hands, reported Dunya News.
Fazl is extremely irked by Women Protection Bill and his anger doesn’t seem to be cooling off. Holding a press conference in Multan, JUI-F leader once again lashed out at the bill, asking if the society would be able to tolerate a man wearing bangles.
“It seems that PM and CM will also fall victim to the law”, said Fazl. He added that the law passed by Punjab Assembly was conflicting with the constitution and termed it ‘Western agenda’. “We won’t let Pakistan to turn into a secular state”, said Fazl.
The JUI-F Amir taunted the Punjab Assembly members and said that they should be wearing ‘Zann Mureed’ (servant to wife) badges. Warning Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah, Fazl said that votes would not be able to save the government if he decided to topple it.
