Summary Incidents regarding meat burglary on the rise in the city
KARACHI (Dunya News) – In a burglary event that took place in a butcher’s shop in the 13-D area of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, the burglars did not settle with stealing the cash only as they made the butcher to cut them some mutton chops and other parts of the goat’s body, reported Dunya news.
The video obtained through the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) camera reveals two armed robbers entering the shop and demanding cash from the shopkeeper. When they were done filling their pockets, they might have thought why not fill the empty stomachs as well and made the butcher cut parts of the goat’s body with perfection. Afterwards they got the meat packed and fled from the crime scene.
At a time when the police and Rangers claim to be making significant breakthroughs against lawlessness in the city, such incidents put a question mark on these institutions whose main duty is to establish law and order.
