KARACHI (Dunya News) – A resident of Karachi threw acid on the face of his wife after a domestic dispute turned into hot argument in Ibrahim Hyderi’s area on Sunday, Dunya News reported.
According to the details, Yaseen threw acid on his wife Reema after an argument. The incident took place on Sunday morning but Reema approached police on Monday to file a report against her husband.
Police have arrested the man and registered the case against him while the victim woman has been shifted to the hospital. Doctors told Dunya News that her condition was much better now and out of danger.

A girl suffered serious burn wounds on Wednesday when two women threw acid on her in Quetta’s Kili Shabu area, Dunya News reported.
According to police, two women entered the house in the guise of polio workers and doused 20-year-old Amna with acid. Reason being the attack could not be ascertained yet.
The attackers escaped from the scene soon after the incident.
The victim was shifted to Bolan Medical Complex where doctors reported that she has suffered 85% burn injuries to her face, however, her condition is stable.
Taking swift action, police have arrested one suspect identified as Jan Bibi while raids are being conducted for arrest of other woman.
The horrific crime, which disfigures and often blinds its overwhelmingly female victims, has long been used to settle personal or family scores with hundreds of cases reported every year.
The first recorded acid attack in Balochistan came in 2010, with two more reported in 2012.
