Islamabad: Ban imposed on pigeon flying till March 23
Pigeons and kites can cause accidents to the aircrafts, mentioned the notification.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – District administration of Islamabad on Monday imposed ban on pigeon flying for two months, reported Dunya News.
According to details, a notification was issued by district administration, in which it was mentioned that pigeon flying had been banned for two months. It is worth mentioning here that a ban on kite flying has also been implemented in the capital city.
This action is taken due to the preparations for 23 March fly-past. The administration has imposed Section 144 in Islamabad.
“Pigeons and kites can cause accidents to the aircrafts,” mentioned the notification.

The assembly of four or more people at a time or holding a public meeting or taking out a procession within the jurisdiction of airport has been banned.
The local administration said that Section 144 was imposed as passengers at the airport are facing difficulties due to protests being staged by PIA employees.
