Summary Pakistan authorities will ready a formal draft by the coming month
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Afghanistan has agreed to initiate movement of trucks on trial under the banner of transit trade, Dunya News reported Thursday.
Member of chambers of commerce from both the sides met on February 14 and 15 to discuss different aspects of the transit trade pacts signed earlier.
According to a joint notification issued by the two neighbouring chambers, India-bound Afghan trucks would stop in Pakistan on return to load export goods for Afghanistan. The draft also states that Pakistan trucks that supply goods to Tajikistan via Afghanistan would import goods from different central Asian countries.
Pakistan authorities will ready a formal draft in this regard by the coming month and forward that to Afghanistan.
