Summary Pakistan to receive 10th instalment worth $500 million in wake of successful talks with IMF
DUBAI (Dunya News) – Positive development has been made in negotiations between Pakistani officials and International Monetary Fund s (IMF) delegation on Tuesday as both hold talks on economic review of Pakistan in Dubai, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, Pakistan is holding high level talks with IMF officials for the payment of the 10th installment of IMF programme worth of $500 million in Dubai.
The officials of ministry of finance briefed the IMF delegation about the reforms in tax system and energy sector. The delegation was also told about the progress in the privatisation of state institutions.
These negotiations on economic review will end on February 4. Finance Minister Ishaq Dar is representing Pakistan in these talks with IMF.
