Summary Political opponents try to put hurdles in way of development instead of thinking about people: PM
SAHIWAL (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif said that those who protested against motorway, now travel on it. He was addressing people after reviewing the progress of work on 1320 Megawatt (MW) coal fueled power project at Sahiwal on Tuesday, reported Dunya News.
According to the details, Nawaz Sharif said that the present government is setting new traditions by completing mega development projects at brisk pace. He said that there is progress on the opposite side of protests and useless opposition, so people should support the government instead of protesting against the development projects.
PM said that the political opponents try to put hurdles in the way of development instead of thinking about the people of Pakistan. He blamed Imran Khan’s sit in for delay in many development projects. He said that many key projects would have been completed if there was not that sit in to slow them down.
Nawaz Sharif said that these power projects, after completion, will ensure in resolving the energy crisis in the country. He said that government is thinking of next 25 years instead of doing politics for small gains.
