Enraged protesters raised slogans against PTI Chairman, KP CM as Imran's visit cancelled again
BATTAGRAM: (Dunya News) – Locals protested on Sunday against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan as his visit to Battagram was cancelled yet again. Enraged protesters raised slogans against PTI Chairman and Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Pervez Khattak on this occasion, reported Dunya News.
According to details, Imran Khan and Pervez Khattak had to visit Battagram’s Tehsil Alaai to inaugurate a micro hydel power project there. However, while a large number of protesters kept waiting for them, the two PTI leaders couldn’t make it to Battagram.
The protesters said that Imran announced his visit five times but couldn’t reach there even once. Party sources told Dunya News that the visit was cancelled due to bad weather.
The micro hydel power project was therefore, inaugurated by District Nazim Atta ur-Rehman and Deputy Commissioner Zareef al-Muaani upon the cancellation of Imran’s visit.
