ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Talks between Pakistan and India are likely to be postponed until action is taken against culprits responsible for Pathankot attack, claims Indian media.

Indian High Commissioner JP Singh paid a visit to the Foreign Office (FO) today.

Singh discussed dates of foreign secretary-level dialogue between the two neighbours. He also reviewed situation after attack on Indian Punjab’s airbase.

On the other hand, Indian national security advisor called on Pakistani counterpart Col (r) Nasir Janjua.

However, Indian media has claimed that Pakistan-India dialogue that was scheduled in January has been delayed due to attack on Pathankot airbase.

The alleged postponement has come in after Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif’s visit to Sri Lanka. Nawaz Sharif is on a three-day visit to Sri Lanka.

India has warned Sri Lanka of halting $400 million aid in case it purchases JF-17 Thunder fighter jets from Pakistan. Pakistani authorities have said that the order would be ready by the end of 2017.
