Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Qamar Zaman Kaira said that the government is the final phase for formation of a committee which would estimate the losses in the flood disaster, the committee will consist of 13 members.Kaira was addressing from a press conference in Islamabad where he said that the government will give Rs 20,000 in aid to the flood affectees before eid. He added that the government will distribute free seed to all those farmers whose land worth is less than Rs 25,000. He said that the government will ensure complete transparency and accountability in the relief and rehabilitation operations in the flood affected areas throughout the country. He urged that the provincial government should co-ordinate with the federal government to work effectively.
