LAHORE (Dunya News) – Famous artist and drama writer Kamal Ahmed Rizvi passed away on Thursday after a protracted illness at the age of 85 in Lahore, reported Dunya News.
According to details, Kamal Ahmed Rizvi was ill from last many years. The great TV actor and drama writer played many unforgettable roles in his dramas but the one which made him the king of hearts was a Pakistan Television (PTV) drama named Alif Noon in which he played the role of Allan. This drama proved to be a game changer for both of the artists, Kamal Ahmed and Rafee Khawar, who played the role of Nanha. This drama was a satirical show about different social issues and became so popular within short time that it is still remembered and referred to as an iconic production of the national TV.
In his condolence message, Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep grief over the sad demise of renowned artist, Kamal Ahmed Rizvi. He paid tributes to performance of artist in his professional field and prayed for the departed soul. Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has also expressed condolence over the demise of renowned artist Kamal Ahmed Rizvi. In his message, he said that Kamal Ahmed Rizvi played an important role in making of PTV dramas and his services will always be remembered. The minister prayed for departed soul and expressed solidarity with heirs.
