KARACHI (Dunya News) – The decisions of Apex committee to make a force for the security of Chinese citizens, were neglected in Sindh, reported Dunya News.
According to details, in the meeting of Apex committee held on September, 2015, chaired by Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, it was decided that a force consisting one thousand retired soldiers will be made for the security of Chinese citizens residing in Pakistan. After the decision, home ministry of Sindh sent many letters to Inspector General (IG) Sindh police for the formation of the force but no positive answer could be obtained till date.
According to sources, Sindh police have also sent number of letters to the IG Sindh to make the separate force for the security of Chinese citizens but IG Sindh police Ghulam Haider Jamali has still not taken any step for the making of the said force. It is worth mentioning here that Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan have made the forces recommended by the Apex committee. There is a large number of Chinese citizens working in different cities of Sindh and they are still using personal security guards for their safety.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has convened Apex Committee meeting in Islamabad on September 10, Dunya News reported.
The meeting will be held at the Prime Minister House in Islamabad and will also be attended by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar, all four provincial Chief Ministers and other civil and military officials.
Sources said that reports of all four provincial Apex Committees will be presented during the meeting. The meeting will also discuss measures to accelerate implementation on the National Action Plan.
