Three al-Qaeda suspects among five arrested in Lahore
The suspects have been arrested during raids in two different areas of Lahore.
LAHORE (Web Desk) – Intelligence agencies have arrested five suspected terrorists during operation in two different areas of Lahore today (Monday), Dunya News reported.
The first raid took place in a village near Thokar Niaz Baig area where two terrorists belonging to a banned organisation were apprehended. The suspects have been identified as Khalid Mehmood and Amanullah.
According to sources, two kilograms of explosives have been recovered from their possession.
Both have been shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.
In second raid in Raiwind City, three al-Qaeda suspects namely Tariq Aziz, Abdul Ghafar and Hamid Ali were arrested. Weapons and some Important documents were seized during the action.
