KARACHI (Dunya News) – Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) on Monday foiled a terror bid by defusing a bomb in Karachi’s Orangi Town.
According to details, unidentified men escaped after placing bomb outside a hotel. Police and BDS officials reached the spot and defused the bomb.
SSP West stated that no explosive material was found in the bomb and was placed only to spread terror in the area.
On the contrary, BDS officials said that the bomb which weighed 1kg was attached to a time device and could have destructed area upto 100 metres on explosion.
