Four more fall prey to fake degree hunt

Four more degrees were declared as fake on Monday by HEC. JUI MNA Maulvi Agha Muhammads degree was proven as fake. He obtained his degree from Jamia Dar-ul-Hudda Habibabad near Khairpur.The degree of a Pakistan Peoples Party MPA Tariq Mehmood Alwana has been declared as fake, Dunya News reported on Monday. Tariq was elected to the provincial assembly From PP-120 Mandi Bahuddin. According to HEC sources, Tariq got his BA degree from AJK University of which the varsity has no record. Alwana is also a member of the committees formed on environment and special education. Another PPP MPA from Sindh Jam Ikramullah Dharejos degrees of BA and MA were rejected by Karachi University. Dharejos record was not found in the university gazette.
