As the matter of scrutiny of degrees of lawmakers is being complicated, HEC chairman on heavy pressure to resign has requested to meet Prime Minister Gilani. HEC chairman Javed Lighari has written a letter to the PM in which he has requested to have a meeting to discuss the issue of degrees. According to sources, Lighari was called by Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah in Karachi ten days ago and asked him to delay the degrees issue. However, after his denial, Sindh Interior Minister Zulfiqar Mirza put pressure on him to resign. According to sources, Lighari wants to inform the PM about all the issues.
