Corruption worth Rs 1200 billion identified in Sindh, reveals Jahangir Tareen

MULTAN (Dunya News) – General Secretary of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Jahangir Tareen on Thursday has lashed out at the government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) for not ensuring early elimination of power crisis, Dunya News reported.
While talking to the media in Multan, Jahangir Tareen stated that the government is only focusing on playing politics instead of providing relief to the heat-stricken people of Karachi. He urged the security agencies to gear up the Karachi operation to its very end so that Karachiites can be entertained with peaceful environment.
Criticizing Sindh government, he revealed that corruption worth Rs 1200 billion has been identified in Sindh and demanded accountability of those invoked in looting the nation.
PTI leader further questioned the authorities that how they can improve the ongoing devastating situation of Pakistan as Nandipur only produces Rs 40/unit electricity when it works.
Responding to a question related to the recent allegation of BBC leveled against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), he said that all the evidence against MQM chief Altaf Hussain is under the possession of Scotland Yard, let’s see how they proceed.
Furthermore, Jahangir Tareen assured to have presented all the relevant and factual evidence before the inquiry commission in election rigging case. He said that evidence is also available against the usage of fake CNICs and missing form 15 in different constituencies.
He added that counsel Hafeez Pirzada is leading the case with his experiential skills. General Secretary reiterated that the verdict on electoral irregularities in NA-154 during GE154 is expected in a week s time
