A naat-khawn lawyer declined to accept an award of Rs50,000 from Federal Law Minister Dr Babar Awan, saying that the minister is out to buy lawyers to rule in Patoki on Saturday. During his visit to Patoki Bar, when the federal minister announced grant for the Bar, he also declared Rs50,000 for a lawyer Yasin who recited naat shareef at the ceremony. Yasin, who later on introduced himself while talking to media as senior advocate at Patoki Bar, said the government is trying to buy the lawyers, adding, Every lawyer is not a commodity on sale. Earlier, while addressing the Bar Babar said that the 18th amendment barred the way of martial law.He announced Rs1million for the Patoki Bar.
