Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday announced Rs3million for a volunteer Saleem Akhtar who laid his life while trying to foil a terrorist attack on the Data shrine two days ago. The CM visited Chak-82 to extend condolence to Saleems family. Shahbaz hailed Akhtars bravery and announced a compensation of Rs 3million for the victims heirs, free education for his children and medical facilities.Earlier, while talking to media after visiting Razzaq Dhilons residence in Sargodha to condole over his mothers death, the CM said that the sasti roti scheme would not be compromised, and vowed to continue the plan. He urged his party members to launch canvassing for Tabreez Gul nominated by Nawaz Sharif for the seat PP-34 for by-polls.
