Summary Transfers still going on in cantonment while only two days left to the by-elections: Abdul Aleem

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) wrote a letter to Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday about the change of polling scheme and transfers of officials in Lahore Cantonment Board.

The letter written by Abdul Aleem Khan stated that transfers and appointments are still going on in the cantonment while there are only two days left till the by-elections. He said that Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) of Defence area has been changed and the polling scheme from ward 1 to ward 5 has also been changed by the returning officer. PTI demanded ECP to take notice. Inspector General (IG) Punjab police has stopped all the transfers after the letter of PTI.

Imran Khan will not participate in the election rally going to be held tomorrow in Lahore Cantonment due to the rules of ECP. He will address a public gathering near the Cantonment area.

Wahdatul Muslameen (WM) has announced to support PTI in Lahore.
