Summary DG Rangers expressed satisfaction over security arrangements
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Director General (DG) Rangers (Sindh) Major Bilal Akbar on Wednesday visited Karachi’s NA 246 constituency to oversee arrangements and security situation regarding the by-election that will take place tomorrow (Thursday), Dunya News reported.
According to details, the preparations of NA 246 by-election battle are on peak. Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) have expressed determination for transparent and peaceful elections as far as the security is concerned.
DG Rangers paid a visit in the constituency to oversee the security arrangements in this regard. He arrived at the Gharibabad area and had Brigadier Khurram Shahzad and Col. Asad accompanying him.
DG Rangers was briefed by the Rangers personnel over the security arrangements. He then visited polling stations established at Sharifabad’s school where he oversaw the operation of CCTV cameras deployed by the Rangers and the control room.
