Summary Imran Ismail has informed the ECP of his concerns, also presented a list of 4 ghost polling stations
KARACHI: (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) candidate for NA-246 by-elections in Karachi Imran Ismail has on Saturday informed the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) with his concerns. He also presented a list of 4 ghost polling stations in the constituency, reported Dunya News.
Talking to media after meeting Secretary ECP, Imran Ismail demanded that the counting of votes, after polling, should also be monitored by Rangers. He told that he had also requested the ECP not to deploy locals as presiding officers in the polling stations.
Imran Ismail said that he had also demanded biometric system in the election but Secretary ECP told him that the demand was made late and could be managed had it been forwarded a month ago. He also feared that ballot papers could be stolen from printing press and thus Rangers should also supervise that process.
