QUETTA (Dunya News) – Dicovery of a new type of polio virus in Balochistan has been verified and it is proving to be a big danger for the province. Health department officials of Balochistan said that the biggest problem of Balochistan after terrorism is Polio and if this problem is not tackled on emergency basis, it will grow out of control.
Workers of Polio control campaign are already facing many problems in Balochistan and many have died during the past few years due to which Polio campain has been ceased in Quetta.
According to experts, Pakistan is on top of the list of countries affected by Polio and Balochistan’s condition in this regard is the worst. Experts say that if society plays its role responsibly then Polio can be fought otherwise our next generations will not only suffer from this fatal disease but a ban on international travelling may also be expected.
