Fact-finding body to be formed to stop target killings

Chief Minister Sindh directed strict action against the anti-state organizations and elements unleashing violence and unrest in Karachi, while the police and Rangers have also been asked to act sans discrimination in this regard. The decision has been taken during a meeting held under the chair of CM Sindh. It was also decided to form a fact-finding committee comprising Ulema hailing from all religious parties, which would have to iron out measures to stop target killings. Karachi SHOs have been directed to take stringent action against the terrorists to maintain peace in the metropolitan city. The meeting was also attended by Rehman Malik besides others.
