Court summons Rehman Malik on June 28

A Rawalpindi Accountability Court summoned Interior Minister Rehman Malik on June 28 on Monday. Rehmans counsel Amjad Iqbal Qureshi filed an application in the court demanding exemption of the minister from appearance in court, which was accepted. However, Judge Chaudhry Abdul Haq remarked that conviction could be imposed due to incomplete applications and ordered the minister to appear before the court in next hearing. Later, the case was adjourned till June 28.
