ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Supreme Court (SC) has restored the membership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Member of National Assembly Hamid Hmeed in the continuency of NA-66 Sargodha, Dunya News reported on Wednesday.

A three-member bench, headed by Justice Saqib Nisar, conducted a hearing over the plea filed against the Election Tribunal decision.
SC while issuing notices to both parties restored the membership of Hamid Hameed and adjourned the hearing till second week of May.

An opponent leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Barrister Abdullah Mumtaz alleged Hamid Hameed of hiding his assets upon which Election Tribunal annulled his membership.

PML-N MNA approached SC for justice and filed a plea against Election Tribunal’s decision.
