Polling for two constituencies of the Punjab Assembly including PP-206 Jalalpur Pirwala and PP-240 Dera Ghazi Khan has ended. Pakistan Muslim League-N candidate Badshah Khan won in Dera Ghazi Khan, he managed to secure 50,235 votes while PML-Q candidate was next to him, he managed to secure 26,348 votes. Despite the fact that security was put on high alert in both the constituencies, however firing has been reported.As many as 12 candidates are in the run for PP-206 while real competition is expected between Ahmed Mujtaba Gilani, brother of Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Pakistan Muslim League N-backed Naghma Mushtaq.Around 27 polling stations have been declared sensitive of 112 in PP-206.Pakistan Muslim League-N candidate Badshah Khan is prominent in PP-240 along with PML-Q candidate Khawja Salaha-ud-Din.Thirty two polling stations have been declared sensitive. Rangers have also been called to maintain along with 2,000 policemen to maintain law and order.Meanwhile, a clash was sparked between the women voters and polling staff when a child, said to be the son of Mir Badshsh Qaisrani, is seen stamping the ballot papers and putting them in the ballot boxes. The women voters lodged protest against the incident.However, the child was forced out after the news was broadcast on Dunya News.
