Thar Famine: Death toll escalates to 248 in 88 days
Six tehsildars have also refused to give wheat sacks to the Thar victims.
THARPARKAR (Dunya News) – At least two more children died today (Sunday) due to the dearth of food in Thar mounting the death toll to 248 in a time span of 88 days.
As per details, a seven-day old Ali Muhammad who was under treatment at Civil Hospital Mithi got died whereas on the other hand, one-month old baby girl also lost her life at Chachru Hospital.
Despite government tall claims, no facilities have been provided to the famine affectees as six tehsildars refused to give wheat sacks to the Thar victims.
