LAHORE (Dunya News) – Security arrangement across the Lahore city has been beefed up for New Year’s Eve to avoid any terrorist activity, Dunya News reported.
According to a post of intelligence agency, Lahore city has been reported under threat on New Year’s Eve in a wake of which Deputy Inspector General Operations (DIG) has finalized the security measurements to ensure law and order situation in the metropolis.
More than 20,000 police officers would be deployed at main roads and governmental buildings on New Year’s Eve whereas check posts would be made at the entrance and exit points of Lahore.
