QUETTA (Dunya News) – Quetta Police on Saturday foiled an attempt of terrorists to sabotage Jaffer Express by defusing ten-kg bomb planted at the railway lines, Dunya News reported.
According to police, unidentified terrorists planted 5, 5 kg explosive material on the both sides of railway track near Mosa Colony to explode Jaffer Express which was heading towards Rawalpindi.
Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) on a tip off residents defused the bomb after which the police cordoned off the entire area to start search operation.
Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Abdur Razzaq Cheema thanked the residents for informing on time and stated that it’s been third time that the police have foiled an attempt of sabotage with the help of natives.
Moreover, he further assured to honor the informant with prize.
