PTI draws up strategy for lockdown in KP

Summary Fifteen points in Peshawar city would be locked down on December 18.

LAHORE (Dunya News)— Following the call for protest by Imran Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on December 18, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has drawn up a strategy for lockdown in KP including the city of Peshawar.

Like the ongoing protests in other provinces, PTI has also developed a plan to close down the city of Peshawar in KP On December 18. PTI leaders and ministers have been assigned special tasks regarding KP lockdown. Fifteen points in Peshawar city would be locked down in the morning on December 18.

In order to take traders and transporters into confidence meetings will be held on December 16 whereas pamphlets will also be distributed for raising public awareness.

Local ministers of different districts in the province will also hold protest on December 18 and formal teams have been formed to handle it.

Moreover, the PTI leadership has also summoned the party ministers and leaders in Islamabad to discuss the plan for the lockdown in Peshawar.
