Islamabad: Sardar Raza to assume charge as CEC

Raza had farewell meetings with the judges and staff of the court
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Justice Sardar Raza on Friday has resigned from the post of Chief justice (CJ) of the Federal Shariat Court to take oath of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of Pakistan on Saturday.
According to the details, Sardar Raza has sent his letter of resignation to the President of Pakistan.
However, Raza did work as the CJ of the Federal Shariat Court today (Friday).
He also had farewell meetings with the judges and staff of the court.
Reportedly, Raza would take oath of the CEC tomorrow in the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan in the afternoon at 1pm.
