SUKKUR (Dunya News)— Jamiat Ulema e Islam Fazl (JUI-F) has announced on Monday to hold demonstrations across the country on December 5. He said that the murder of JUI-F leader Dr Khalid Mahmood Soomro is a national loss. Ghafur Ahmed said that Fazlur Rehman has been attacked three times and the security agencies have not taken any action.
Addressing a press conference after a session of Executive Committee of JUIF, Fazulur Rehman said that the murder of Dr Soomro is a national tragedy. He announced that a protest rally would be held in Islamabad on March 1, 2015 to condemn the murder.
He also claimed that JUIF is the largest political party in Pakistan and works towards the welfare of the country. He asserted that all the plans of Imran Khan would eventually fail.
JUIF Secretary General Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haider said on the occasion that so far three attacks have been plotted against their leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman and it is unfortunate that the security forces haven’t taken notice of it. He announced that the party would hold country-wide protest demonstrations on December 5 at district level.
