Summary CEC appointment case is also likely to be discussed in the meeting with PM.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – While talking to media on Monday in Islamabad, Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah stated that Pakistan would not ‘shut down’ on a call of Imran Khan whereas government should initiate talks with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

He further assured that the appointment of Chief Election Commission (CEC) will be decided in a meeting with Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif.

Opposition Leader has denied the statement of government spokesman for not instigating talks with PTI and demanded a political solution of the ongoing disturbed situation in Pakistan.

Khursheed Shah urged the government to put forward its hands to commence dialogues with PTI or else it will be difficult for Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) to handle the expected chaos.

Moreover, he added that he will tell PM that the statement for not carrying out negotiations with PTI is regrettable.
